The ABP centre approval process is essential to guaranteeing that all ABP standards are maintained and the qualifications are delivered to the highest specifications. ABP is committed to deliver a high quality customer experience ensuring that each centre is able to build a successful partnership with ABP from the first point of contact.
'ABP manages to offer a personal touch, nothing is too much trouble. ABP are approachable, accurate and customer-centric all vital components for the success of our awards.' Stephanie Edwards, Managing Director of Customer 1st International.
ABP's dedicated approval team works efficiently and effectively to approve new centres as quickly as possible. Assuming we receive all the necessary documentation and the associated fees, the approval/accreditation process (which may include a centre visit) should take no more than 4-6 weeks to complete.
Centres interested in obtaining approval from ABP should complete the "Centres: request accreditation application pack" form.
We will then send you all the necessary paperwork with details of our fees. Centres which are already ABE accredited are exempt from the ABP approval fee.
We will also use this opportunity to clarify any basic details about the centre.
2.1 Submission of Accreditation Aplication Pack
In addition to the submission of the Accreditation Application Pack a condition of full approval is proof of the ASIC or BACS accreditation.
Furthermore, if you wish to recruit overseas students you will also need to send proof of approval of your UKBA Accreditation.
2.2 Approval Fees
Centre approval fees are applied at the point of application. They are payable in full and approval will not be granted until they are received by ABP.
For centres already approved by the Association of Business Executives (ABE):
- ABP centre approval fees will be waived.
- Where a centre applies concurrently for ABP and ABE accreditation, ABP fees will be reduced

The approval procedure includes a review of the centre's resources and may also include a centre visit by an ABP representative.
When the process is completed and our criteria is satisfied the centre will be approved.
